If anyone is interested there's a new truck show on, this weekend (17th and 18th September) in Suffolk, called Swedefest 2016.
It's a reincarnation of the old Gathering of the Griffin which has for the past few years been held at the Orwell truckstop, but has now moved to the Mid Suffolk Show ground at Stonham Barns (IP14 6AT).
Where The Gathering of the Griffin was purely all Scania, Swedefest is going to be a good mix of Scania and Volvo. I don't think there will be much model content if any, but worth a trip for the trucks alone. Plenty of reference photo's and modelling ideas I hope. I am intending to get along myself and support this new venture.
