model truck shows

I'm new to these groups and I'm just looking for model truck shows to enter my truck and trailer in competitions. Although it's 1/14 scale and was built as a r/c truck, I dont run the truck due to the artwork on the model so if any one can help me in the direction of shows I can enter my model I would appreciate the help

lol. most of the truckfest events have model shows but sometimes its not a good idea to take your better models to some of these shows due to the knuckle draggers who insist on picking the models up!!! what I normally do at these shows is display 2 tables deep with some plastic racking on the back table with the better models on the top out of harms reach. the best shows are the likes of truckfest Scotland where there is a fence around the display but there are no competitions at these shows just a bit of fun. the only shows I know of for competitions is gaydon and maybes some of the ipms shows I know there was a competition at ipms Huddersfield.
also some of the r/c boys have regular meets but they are mostly running days but im sure there would be room to set up a static table there is a group on facebook called 'Tamiya trucks' which might be worth a look.
