I'll be there with Fatty and a nice selection of Bedford conversions, and the 'Beyond the Box' mayhem of course.

Pete

I took advice a couple of years ago on the weather and didn't go, last year was a little slow for some reason so hopefully this year it'll be a bit busier.

We went two years back in the snow.
Hardest part was getting up the ramp into the carpark.

Pete.

I got the train from Sheffield that year and it took me nearly two hours to get there  Last year it was almost too busy to be functional, the show has outgrown the hall really. I'll still pop across this year though since I'm so close and with proper transport, might get another bargain or two

I'll been there with the What if stand, I'm driving down on the Saturday and meeting up with some friends for a meal and a drink at The Head Of Steam.  :cheesy:

Subvert and convert

... the show has outgrown the hall really.

It used to be a two day show using half of the hall, then it took all of the hall on a Sunday. Talking to the organisers over the past couple of years it seems there are no other suitable alternative venues within the area.

I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on a memory stick somewhere!

As mentioned earlier in the thread the IPMS'Beyond the Box' SIG will be displaying at Huddersfield, hopefully Fatty will have his Emhar Bedford's on display and Ian Sadler will have his 'Armadillo' Airfield Protection vehicle on display and we should also have progress builds for the 'Camping and Caravanning' theme for this year's SMW. If you're attending, come over and say hello.
