Hi
Just to let you know there is a model club on the same site as the Models4hobby unit, Gary the owner has kindly let us have the club there and it meets every first Thursday night of the month between 6-9pm.
We have only been going since August but little acorns and all that, any type of modeller is welcome, our first public outing as a club will be the Sword & Lance show in Darlington, 14 April 2012.

Not been to Sword and Lance for a bit, can bring some models if necessary.

Do they still hold it in some tiny church hall thing?

Hi
Just to let you know that Its been suggested by some of the newer members that are new to the hobby that the club opens more nights a month so they can get some experience and help with builds as they don't think once a month is enough, so from this Thursday the club will be open every Thursday night (6-8pm), with the first Thursday of the month still the main night (6-9pm).
I think this is a great idea as the club I was a member of in Hampshire when I was a kid did the same, keeps the interest going as well as being helpful.
So no excuse for not knowing which Thursday its on, I know I'll be there with model and glue in hand.  :cheesy:

Hi
Just to let you know that due to Holidays and stock taking there won't be a club meet for the next two Thursdays but we will be at the Sword and Lance show in Darlington on the 14th, that means you Tony and Steve  :cheesy: and club night will start up again as normal on the 19th April.
