Excellent show, all packed up and now chillin with a cold Belgian beer. Sold a few kits, bought a couple of bargains and I pointed Terry in the direction of a trusted kit emporium and he bought the Trumpeter 1/35 MAZ tank transporter, let's see how long it takes for him to start that. .........

How long it takes me to start .....? Don't you mean finish? .......... No actually, you are correct

Back home, unloaded and counting the cost of the holiday. I sold a lot of kits which I doubt will be built but seemed a good idea at the time, mainly 1/35 military kits. No major purchases (unlike Terry) but I did buy a couple of bargains. I bought the re-released 1/24 Army Landrover FFR from Italeri (ex- Esci) very nice. I also purchased one of my favourite kits, the 1/24 Jeep from Italeri which is now 75% built. There were a couple of bargains which never really reached the sales table as I saw them being unloaded, they're the Italeri 1/24 Mercedes Desert Train (757) and the 1/24 Italeri Platform Semi Trailer (769). They will probably be sold on to fund a little project which I have in mind. I also purchased a couple of books about the Bedford, once again the bargains are there if you look for them and these were from the publisher. All I have to do now is sort out the workshop and get the bench ready for a little commission I picked up at the show, a 1/35 Accurate Armour Ferret for someone who actually owns one, the same person asked me to build an Airfix 1/76 Landrover 101 whilst at the show, nice kit but a little near the limit of my eyesight. It was built and painted to his satisfaction though and he paid me for my services. Just wondering if it would be worthwhile representing the Forum next year with a few military builds ... what do you all think?

I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on a memory stick somewhere!
