Rempstone Steam Gala, July 9th / 10th. I'll have the Dennis SS and the Dennis Rapier on the field topping up the steamers and providing fire cover. Usually lots of trucks on show and of course the smell of steam and smoke ... I'll try and bottle some, anyone want any? http://www.rempstonesteam.org/ (http://www.rempstonesteam.org/)

Caravan sorted, provisions loaded (beer cooling in the fridge), just the ironing of a few essentials to do then I'm ready to roll. Not taking the laptop, having an Internet free weekend. The truck is greased and oiled, washed and polished ...

Wish we had shows like that over here  I guess there is not enough interest or the population is so spread out. I am going to have to save my pennies and head up that way one year and spend the entire summer visiting Steam, trucking and aircraft shows
Any one want to be my guide and camera assistant?

Not bad at all but there's alway's room for improvement. The one I have will be altered to take a strengthened roof and fire protection. Expect to pay about £20 and upwards, but it depends on what you're prepared to pay. Just type AMT Caterpillar D8 into your search engine.
