I wish I could say yes, but the base was Howards F88 kit.  There are a lot of similar if not common parts between the F86 and F88.  Look at the door tops and the profile of the upper cab!  Howard had is doubts when I said I was going to bash his F88 kit, but I think it turned out well, so far!!

I wish I had taken some more photos of the operation, here are a couple.

Were KFS at Gaydon?
Anyone got any clues about their “spring 2023” new projects ?
Yes they were had a good conversation with them, really enthusiastic about the show and the future. No real give  aways to what is in the pipeline but  they did say that Howard is still in the background guiding them, and that is what they wanted when they took the business over so watch this space.
Cheers John
I’m going out on a limb and guessing Volvo F86-I can’t think of much else that hasn’t already been made by the aftermarket companies that is mainstream enough to sell in decent numbers.
Not my thing but it would sell well I bet.

I will throw my hat in the ring on the 'wish list' front.

I would wish for either a Magirus Deutz 232/310, the one from the seventies with the stepped sleeper roof.
OR
A Mercedes LP model from the late sixties/early seventies, either the 240s with the short sleeper, which were common in the UK, or the larger cabbed  'V' engine models which where popular in europe.

Somewhere in my stash I have a couple of resin LP Merc cabs in 1/24th and In 1/50th and a 1/50th Magi D cab.  Which are in what I would describe as as a 'rough- and- ready' state.  Which I bought many years ago, but it would be great to have a proper quality transkit to build.
