Big thanks to all who made the weekend as brilliant as it always is

Special thanks must go to Steve for allowing me back on the forum tables again, Andrew for sorting out the paperwork again, Linda for the hospitality ( and looking out for my lads while me and Steve had a little jaunt from the venue )

Once again a enjoyable weekend gone too quick but fun and banter given and taken in the true Gaydon fashion.
Well done to all the trophy winners ( I even managed a couple  ) the standard is definately getting higher every year

Here`s to next years show

Kim took about 400 pictures on Saturday....unfortunately he couldn't be there Sunday...some are already on the Truck Model Archive site. Look under People and Model Shows, then in the Gaydon 17 file.
Others to come later and I will try and get the keywords added as soon as poss

Great show as always and great to catch up with everyone.

I was on the show for the first time and I must say it was great. Inside and outside, eyes to short. Well done everyone. I hope to come back next year.
Cheers

Another cracking weekend.

A big thanks to Ashley & Co. for organising the show, to Steve & Co. for allowing me to display on the forum tables again, and to all the other exhibitors who make the show such a success every year. Well done guys..!!

I spent so much time chatting with other people that I didn't even get a chance to take any photos or get outside to see the trucks...!! Never mind, I'd probably end up with more ideas for truck models that I haven't got time to build anyway..!!

I too managed a couple of trophies which rounded the weekend off nicely.

Same time next year guys?

Went by very quickly (except the last couple of hours, quite strange not having the mad dash to pack away after the trophy giving!) and like others, only managed a short walk around outside yet still managed to do more planning of models

See you all next year

I managed to get along on Sunday morning, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some fantastic models.

I had intended to introduce myself, but everyone was busy chatting, so didn't want to interrupt.

This was my first visit to Gaydon, but it certainly won't be my last.  I renewed acquaintances with some old friends from other modelling events and met some people who I know will become firm friends over the coming years.  This was, without doubt, the friendliest show that I have ever attended.  Thanks to everyone for making it a weekend to remember, and especially to Ashley and Peter White.

Steve Bellerby

Looking forward to Gaydon 2018
