I haven't mastered the art of putting pictures on here yet, but you can see my latest model on www.truckmodelarchive.com
Go to Trailers, then Aqualogy.
I'll let you guess what it is
Peter

I know, but you told me so thats cheating  Glad to see you're still at it, I was just thinking today the archive hasn't been updated in a while. Keep it up, I now use your site all the time to show off my previous work

Kim has another batch ready to go shortly. The target is 10000 images by the end of the year.

Top notch pete,is it for transporting marine fish to and from wholesaler to shop ?
-
Nothing to do with fish! But water is involved....

Has it got anything to do with Ice Pigging
-
Got it in one.
Its used to clean underground pipes by pumping ice under pressure to scour the inside of the pipes. Shifts all the muck and debris etc. The unit at the front generates the power for the refrigeration unit and the tank holds water which freezes into slush.
The model was built as a personal build but the company persuaded me to part with it.
Trailer wheels and suspension from Kfs, Premium kit courtesy of Mixxy, everything else more or less scratchbuilt.

Excellent build Peter  I hope the company are letting you borrow it back for Gaydon next year

Just looking at the nearside of the barrel on the trailer Peter, why is there no yellow conspicuity "tick" at the back? It looks like theres a different texture on the barrel there, what is that in real life?

Its a non slip surface as far as I could make out from pictures. I replicated it with fine grade wet and dry painted silver.

That'll be why, the tape won't stick to non-slip stuff. Still, they should have put it elsewhere but hey ho

Excellent work Peter
