I am making the Tru-Kit ERF E series, on the near side of the truck I am copying there is a heat sheild on the exhaust box, its not included in the Volvo FH 16 kit I am using nor is it in the Tru-Kit, any ideas as to how I can reproduce this item please. can the experts advise please.

A bit of 20 thou sheet cut, shaped and drilled out would sort out the front of it
Similar thing for the sides, possibly with some small strip on the inside of the joints to strengthen them.
Something suitable for the step could be found either in the spares box or worst case, made from some chequer plate.
Would the experts agree?

The photo was "borrowed" from the reference section Dick.
Get yourself in there as there are loads more photos of different trucks.

Regarding the item under the battery box of the ERF E series, looking at the item in the photo above and the tank from the Volvo FH16 kit, the one in the photo looks a lot bigger would items 66c & 67 c not be a better one, advice please.
