It's at the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon, just a short distance from J12 of the M40,

One pf the best model shows in the UK if not Europe, specifically for truck models, and models of transport related subjects in all scales,

Traders are there again catering to most scales

A classic truck show as well as admission to the motor museum itself,

One normally finds that there is not enough time in the weekend

I cannot recommend it enough, this year marks my  21st  year at this event, most as an exhibitor, here at Gaydon and it's previous venue Rugby

Forgot to say it's the 14 and 15 of June, Ashley Coghill is the organiser, there is a thread on the TMW forum with all the details you need

Ron

For anyone not on TMW forum this is what Ashley has posted :-

Hi all:

I shall be posting this year's invites and festival information out by the end of this week.

PLEASE fill in relevant forms and return to me ASAP !

If there is anyone who has not exhibited at Gaydon before and fancies coming along this year, you will be very welcome.
Please email or call me for more information.

The festival will be a FULL 2 DAY EVENT - as per last year.
There will be NO "Sunday only" exhibitors.
There may be a chance to exhibit on Saturday only, but please contact me to discuss this.

This year there will be a very small increase in competition entry fees.
It will be £1.50 per entry.

All the festival information you need will be in the envelope coming to you soon!
Any queries, questions, etc, please contact me.

Regards ASH

unfortunately not Davie. trying to accommodate different fractions of the forum over the last couple of years caused us more trouble than it was worth. this year we will be staying with the members that was with us the previous years. we will try to help in anyway we can and there will be plenty of forum members about over the weekend so you won't be on your own. in fact i think Rhys is attending on his own this year so perhaps you two could get together ???

I am planning on going this year again.

In a bit of dilemma though, Do I show my model trucks or do I take my 1.1 show truck or both.

My paperwork is also done wth Ash, however still must look for the paperwork on this side (ferry, hotel, pounds)
Gaydon and it's previous venue Rugby
and before Rugby, it was in Crickstop at Crick, in a big marquee. One year it was blown flat in the night from Sat on Sun due to a stormwind. Luckily our models were not inside (in those days it was a 1-day event).

There's a truck show (1:1) coming up in Victoria in a fortnight, it's combined with a Hotrod & Ute show. I was very tempted to enter my ute (which I've shown on here once before), originally I was going because Auslowe are running the model show that is part of it also...

Unfortunately, because I only found out about it a week ago, I can't get accommodation within a 50km radius of the place
