Would have thought this would be on here by now  A good day out for all, if you ignore those things with wings and tracks  should be quite a few truck models about as half the membership on here usually attends plus can often be bargains in the trade areas - as long as you get there before Andy and Alan

Maybe I have missed it?
-
i will be there bargain hunting again
there might be a chance of diplaying some models as they sent some forms to tyneside and durham model club a while back so i returned them asking for some tables but i dont think gary has had anything back off them yet. i'll let you all know if we are sucessful getting tables as you will be welcome to bring some models.

Andrew, Are trucks well represented then? I hadn`t given attending this show a thought due to only getting a reply every six months when I put something in the truck section.
Coupled with that I attempted to get some info regarding joining my nearest meet (20 miles away) and am stiil awaiting a reply one year later.
If you think it will be worth it then I`ll definitely give it a go.
-
I'll be there bargain hunting again this year

Jim depends what you call well represented! Percentage wise it seems quite good but there are a LOT of planes and quite a few military stuff. Pete will (yes Pete?) be there with the Manchester model guys, Nick and friends will have some truck stuff I believe and there will be odd stuff elsewhere but most if not all will be at Gaydon. Chris (Wolfie) did have the Truck sig but I'm not sure he is doing this year (Chris?). If you are bargain hunting there are some good trade stands but you will have to get in quick - seriously - as they go very quickly. It is a good day though and a good chance to catch up with several forum members and there are lots of modelling materials and paints etc with no postage costs!
-
Thanks for that Andrew, its one for the diary then.
-
:cheesy: I'm popping up again this year, its costing me a weekend away though  Well she did want to go on honeymoon  and I can't make Jabbeke this year
-

Jim, I'll be there on the 'Beyond the Box' tables as will Paul Findon with some of his amazing truck models, I may bring one or two myself. Just a comment on your local IPMS Branch, if you have still not had a reply then clearly that's unacceptable. Please contact the Branch Liaison officer direct.

... I know Phil will also find the situation unacceptable.

Thanks Nick.. I`m not about to make any waves - that`s why I didn`t name the branch. :embarrassed:

Alan I,ve got myself some space sorted with Langley Moor Club so if you lads want to take a few bits extra you can or we could pop a few of Bob,s kits on the table as I have the Ford Aeromax and trailer at home what do you think. ??? Just a idea. Tony.

I had one on display and Paul Findon (Fatty) brought along his Bedford conversions winning best in class with one of them. Several trucks about the show and several bargains under the tables.
