I am the secretary/archivist of the Auckland Fire Brigade Historical Society so anyone who is interested in fire trucks/stations/equipment etc (read Nick ) check out our web site. http://afbhs.co.nz/ (http://afbhs.co.nz/)
We have a special series of photos at the moment on the building of our unique Mack 75 Aerialscope which was the first outside of the USA and is the only one in the Southern Hemisphere. Soon to be retired and replaced with a Scania/Bronto

The local transport museum (MOTAT) is trying for it, if that does not happen the society will try, but the museum will more than likely get it and we have backed their proposal.
