The Allen tin tent is loaded and we'll soon be heading south for the 'War and Peace' show at Beltring in Kent: http://www.warandpeaceshow.com/home.html (http://www.warandpeaceshow.com/home.html) if anyone is visiting the show, please drop into the Model Marquee and say hello.

I'm back from what was darkest, wettest, muddiest Kent! On the last day, Sunday, the sun came out and stayed out all day ... grrr! Not to worry, I had several nice comments about some of the truck models on display including Steve's Beaver! A nice German visitor took a shine to my built and weathered 1/24th Opel Blitz and offered me ready money for it, so it's now on the way to Germany. I managed to sell several of my 1/35th stash and replaced them with 1/24th kits, so I'm stocked to the ceiling again, just have to b uild some of them now, or should I say finish some of the builds I've started?

It's a 5 day show starting on wednesday and ending on sunday. We're there from the saturday before until the monday after. I took several 1/35th kits to sell, basically to fund a couple of projects. Selling one of the built models was a bonus, and the bloke is coming back next year, he wants an exact model replica of the Opel Blitz he owns. The owner of the Russian MAZ 537 also wants a model of his truck ... I think I need to get my arse in gear.
