Thanks to having a top boss, I managed to spend a few hours looking around on Saturday. I must say it was really worth being weekended in Oostende! The quality was top notch and I wish I could have stayed longer. I had a brief chat with Peter White but unfortunately didn't know any others Brits to speak to.

just got back from jabbeke last night and what a great weekend it was too. it was great to meet gerdi again and all of the on the road crew and also to meet the danish guys i could have talked 'ceusters' with flemming pedersen for a whole week  but best of all was getting 3rd in best company livery for my ceusters/intraka combination i was certainly suprised as it was up against some fine models. sometime this week i will get my photos sorted i got plenty of cars as well

Did I congrat you? As I'm always very busy on Sunday evening saying goodbye and wishing good return trips to everybody, so here and there someone slips away without me seeing them.
Anyway congrats Alan and see you in Gaydon.

I got the blade as well, bit later in the day, the sun had come round, could have gone a bit further but didn't have time to wait, it was probably going to Ostende, there was a lot of turbine stuff in the docks so was probably for an offshore farm.

Had a good day on the Sunday, and bought the Scanny Drawbar off Heinz, plus a few other bits.

Only that the day was spoiled by the UK customs in Dover, at the last point, was asked to go into the shed on the left and then got the preverbial grilling, as for my kit, he asked if I had a reciept and I said no, just gave him 60 Euro and he gave me the box, so he made me open it!! and then said Oh it is a kit, how long will that take to build, I said a few months if it ever gets built. Then after a few more questions, around 20 minutes in total, said we could go, good job he didn't ask what was in the carrier bag, I don't think  "Resin" parts would have gone down well.
