Title: Croft on 1st and 2nd October
Post by: ynotovlov on September 25, 2011, 06:15:10 PM: Just letting people know the confirmation of tables has been returned to me for the event to the total of 6 no tables at the event so far (myself,Robin and Graham) know about event will Steve and Alan please leave a reply as so I know as to weather you are attending the event and does anybody have a contact for wolfie (Chris Cooper) as he mentiond he might attend Thankyou.Ynotovlov.

I found that if you come A1 to the A68 turn off to darlington then follow signs for Croft best way from North as you enter Croft the event is at the Rugby club grounds(I think) same as last year not the race curcuit. Steve hope to see you there. Gave wolfie a ring but wo,nt know if he,s comming as it clashes with another event he does.So place is availible if anybody interested.

Post by: ynotovlov on September 25, 2011, 08:22:07 PM: No problems as Saturday there will be plenty of space as Robin and Graham will only be there Sunday so Saturday is still open to anybody interested but remember it,s a vintage event/rallie not just a truck show as you know Steve so there is a mixture of things on display both in the marque and outside I just hope we have better weather than last year. I,m just trying to fillempty space as the qoute of tables may get knocked back next year if nobody interested I will take extra down there to try to keep them as It,s only my second year at the event. Thankyou to all for there help hope to see some familiar faces and possibly some new ones.

Got nothing in the pipeline Andrew I got a few more decent pics of other stuf like another old wrecker and some motorhomes pickups ect. Wehave to wait of H releasing that TK conversion though and at how much more to the question but maybe :shame: :grin: :grin:.

Andrew I,ve also noticed that about most of the KFS transkits especialy trucks H keeps puting them off I think it may be he is not wanting to much stuff lay around his shelfs. Plus with all that karki and camo stuff he has going on it may boil down to time as well. Even if he does farm the casting out there is all the chasing of the orders up which take up time as well. So in a knock on efect it will slow down the further casting on other/new transkits I suppose.We will just have to wait and see if it turns up this month or if it gets knocked back again. But if H,s other kits are anything to go by it should be a nice piece to work with and worth the £99.Has he decided to sell it with the propper chassie or every thing bar that and use the volvo fh as the base. Cos he mentioned something about making compleate kits last time I spoke to him .

Post by: voyager on October 03, 2011, 09:17:25 PM: Tony, the KM and TK will be full chassis/cab kits with just the rear bodywork to add depending on the truck you are modelling which makes the price tag pretty good in my eyes. Fingers crossed, they are now being cast so hopefully Howards first test build should come soon! Then he can get on with the Matador.... :thumbsupup:

I spoke to David Jane at Milton Keynes who is making the masters for the Matador, it was apparently due for SMW but he doubts it will be ready before March 2012.
